报告人简介：

Prof. Quan Cai (蔡泉) received his B.S. degree from East China University of Science and Technology in 2007, and subsequently obtained his Ph.D. from the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2012 under the supervision of Prof. Shuli You. After completing his doctoral studies, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Scripps Research Institute, Rice University, and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School, working with Prof. K. C. Nicolaou and Prof. Nathanael Gray. In June 2017, he joined the Center for Molecular Recognition and Synthesis in the Department of Chemistry at Fudan University, where he embarked on his independent research career. His research focuses primarily on the development of new asymmetric pericyclic reactions and their applications in synthetic chemistry.
